Newtown is a village near the north-west coast of the Island. Once the Island's capital, Newtown used to be much larger. Much of the area is owned by The National Trust. The road passes through woodland, farmland and the creeks of Newtown Harbour.

This photograph shows the causeway across one of the creeks near Newtown village.
