think the Island is an ideal location for cyclists. There is a
network of quiet lanes and way-marked bridleways. There is a well
signposted ‘round-island’ road route. Bikes are carried free of
charge* on the vehicle ferry routes.

Many
off road routes are available. They are well signposted and interconnect.
They are shown clearly on the maps listed above. Selected off-road
routes are also shown on smaller maps available from the Tourist
Offices.
Most
of these routes are bridleways. Courteous consideration of other
users is essential. Always follow the off-road cycling code.
